Our newest additon

We have our new baby baby boy.

This was taken a couple days before I had him.

 We are so happy to have him here, he is such a good baby and we just love him to pieces. The kids just can't get enough of him.

Easter

We started our Easter off with our annual town Easter egg hunt. I didn't get very many pictures of Jaylie getting eggs I was lucky enough to get this one, cause she was gone. Kollin did really good at getting his own eggs. Once I got a hold of Jaylie and seen what eggs she had picked up I had to laugh she only picked up the pink eggs.

 The kids had so much fun dying eggs this year. We just let Jaylie do her own thing, and Kollin we had to help him just a little bit, but he did really good at dropping the eggs in and not cracking them.

 We actually had some good weather for a bit to take the kids out on the desert to have lunch and roll eggs down the hill. We met up with Jason's sister Mel and her family.

 The kids had so much fun rolling (I guess I should say throwing) the egg down the hill.

 The kids had a blast climbing the rocks and hills, and of course playing in the dirt.

 Jason's aunt and uncle were out camping so that's where we went to BBQ. We were asked to stay and do an Easter egg hunt with Jason's cousins kids.

 Since the weather would not cooperate the Easter bunny hid the eggs in the house.

Its a.......BOY!!

Yep, that's right we are having another boy. Poor Jaylie is out numbered, she had her heart set on a sister and there was no changing her mind. We kept telling her she could be getting another brother and her response to that was, "I already have one." So needless to say when we told her it was a boy she started crying. We told Jason's parents and his sister by having them dye and egg what color they thought they baby was (blue for boy, purple for girl) and the answer was on the egg.

We told my parents over the phone, we were trying to have Jaylie tell them but she wouldn't she told me that she was to upset to tell them she was getting a brother. But when we got them on the phone she said, "a boy and a girl" (she is still set on getting a sister she thinks she's going to get one after this baby, we will have to see about that). We finally got Kollin to say brother to my parents.

Kollin's Birthday

Kollin turned 2 back in February, I still can't believe that my little baby boy is two. He loves rocket off of Little Einsteins. We had a small party for him with Jason's family and my mom and dad.

He would only rip little pieces of paper off at a time so it took a while for him to open them.

 He loves construction equipment, he even knows the names of most of them (guess you could say he's taking after his dad).

He got some little construction trucks to play with.

Last summer he was always trying to help Jason mow the lawn so my mom and dad got him a lawn mower. Jaylie picked out a chair for Kollin.

 This was our gift to Kollin.

Time to blow out the candles, I had to grab his hand so he wouldn't touch the candles. He did a pretty good job at blowing the candles out. 

Fun in the snow.

A week after Christmas we went to Beaver to visit and they had snow that the kids could play in, even though it was freezing outside they still wanted to play. Jaylie was trying to sled down a small hill in my parents backyard, and she enjoyed making snow angels.

Kollin liked throwing the snow up in the air, but sometimes the snow would get blown back into his face. Jaylie had to try and shovel the sidewalk.

Christmas '10

Our Christmas was a lot of fun this year. Kollin got a bike from Santa and we couldn't really get him to pay attention to anything else. Jaylie was all over the place, at first she was more interested in what Kollin had gotten from Santa rather than looking at her own stuff. We finally got her to go look at her stuff and she got a tag reading system with books. Then it was on to opening presents, Jaylie was so excited to open presents it didn't take her very long to have hers all opened. Kollin on the other hand was a little overwhelmed he wasn't sure what to do he would open one present then go ride his bike.

 

Kollin got a little wheel barrel and wagon from Great grandma Beard with a bear, he pushed and pulled them around for a while.

Jaylie's Birthday

This year we did two birthday parties for Jaylie. The first one we did down in Beaver, cause that's where her big birthday present was. She got this cute outfit from my brothers family.

My Grandpa, Jason and I built Jaylie this doll house. My grandpa made little windows on the side(I need to get a picture of them, they are very detailed). We didn't quite get the reaction we thought we would get out of her. She opened it up and said, "its empty." We told her she needed to open the rest of her presents.

She got doll furniture from Grandma and Grandpa Q, and Great Grandma and Grandpa Beard

She had to put the furniture in all by herself.

She now has a bedroom set and a bathroom set to go in it too.
The second birthday we did on her actual birthday. Here's her cake that took me 4 hrs. to do. She loves Strawberry ShortcakeShe got a nice new winter jacket from Grandma and Grandpa Holdaway
Jason's sisters family gave Jaylie the Rapunzel barbie doll and a wig for her to go with it.
She was so afraid to put the wig on so Jason decided to put it on.
After telling Jaylie she could look like Hannah Montana she decided it was ok to wear. She had to have something to use for her guitar(the white pillow).

Seeing Santa

This post is late, but when the holidays hit things get really busy.

We went to see Santa the day after thanksgiving, Jaylie was really excited to see him.

We thought that Kollin would start crying when we put him on Santa's lap, but we were wrong, he just couldn't figure out who the heck he was. I think it helped having Jaylie sitting there with him.

This is the only picture I got of Kollin looking forward all the others are of him staring at Santa.We went to Beaver this year for Thanksgiving and every year after Thanksgiving they do a light parade to turn on the Christmas light on main street.
