Halloween

We gutted our pumpkins the night before Halloween. We got Jaylie to gut her own pumpkin, she wasn't sure about it at first, she said that it was slimmy.

We started our day off by going over to Huntington to go trick-or-treating to all the aunts, uncles and Grandparents. We came home and carved pumpkins, well Jason and I carved them, Jaylie was down for a nap and we couldn't get her to wake up. Jaylie was a cowgirl and Kollin was a monkey (some thought he was a dog). Jaylie riding off to go trick-or-treating.
Jaylie wanted us to dress up to, so we did, Jason was a cowboy and I was a doctor.

Fun with Dad

Jason had some time off work so we took advantage of it. He's been working so hard lately, it was nice to get to spend some family time with him. We went out shooting, Kollin and Jaylie would play in the back of the truck.

One day we went for a picnic up the canyon to show Jaylie the colored leaves.
Jaylie really like the leaves especially the red ones. She carried this leaf where ever she went.

Kollin 7 & 8 months.

So here are some pictures of Kollin at 7 months. He has offically started crawling, no more army crawl. He pulls himself up on things. He is such a joy to have around.

Kollin 8 months old. He got one tooth. He tries to standup in the middle of the floor & climb on things. He is a daring little guy, he pulls himself up to stand and then lets go. He is such a happy baby.

6 months

My little boy is growing to fast. He is so fun to have around and we are thankful to have him in our family. I think he is going to take after his dad, tall and skinny. Kollin has learned to do so much. He sits up on his own, he gets into the crawling position, but doesn't know what to do yet, so he army crawls everywhere. I love to watch Jalyie ineract with him. She is such a good big sister, she sometimes loves on him a little to much. She's doesn't really like that Kollin can now get to her toys.

Holdaway Runion

So I'm a little behind on posts, but things have just been so crazy lately. So anyway earlier this month was the Holdaway reunion. We had so much fun playing and visiting. Jaylie was just so excited to be able to go camping, she had been asking for a while to go. One morning almost everyone when for a walk to go look at what the kids were calling a waterfall. Here's Jaylie playing in it.

The 24th, and a week in Beaver.

We went to beaver for the 24th. We started the day off at the parade. Kollin got so excited when the brought an army tanker out, he was kickin and wavin his arms like crazy, they even did a fake shot which scared Jaylie. When the drill team came down Jaylie could hear the music and started dancing and shaking her butt. At the end of the parade they bring out a big water truck to spray water, kids follow it all the way down the road. Jaylie Dancing

Jason took Jaylie down this big slide, you can't tell in the picture, but Jaylie was laughing so hard. Kollin sitting in his car seat watching fireworks. He's giving me an evil look, like mom why are you taking pictures of me. Jaylie wouldn't take a nap, so my brother took her for a ride in his GEO, she loves to ride in it especially when the top is down.
My mom got out the swimming pool and slip n' slide. Each of the kids got a big water balloon to play with. Jaylie called hers her baby.
Jaylie got into some stickers and put them on herself where they go. She even had a glove stuck on her hand.
Jaylie got this apron on and one of my mom pots and was pretending to cook some chocolate.

Kollin tired himself out and snuggled up to the side of the playpen.

So one morning we could hear a rooster and it was louder than usual so we walked outside to find it in the backyard. The kids thought it was pretty neat. They would try to sound like a rooster and that would only make it crow.
