Our 4th of July

Our 4Th of July celebrations started Saturday morning with a parade in Huntington, then to Jason's parents house for a BBQ with family.
Kollin really liked the parade this year there was lot of oo's and wow's. I had to keep a close eye on him cause when ever a four wheeler or truck go by he would try to run out to them. It took him a minute to get the hang of picking up candy, he would pick up one piece and try and eat it. Then he figured out he could pick up more.I love his face. I didn't have Jaylie with me this year, she was with Jason riding on the Nielson Construction truck. The got his grandma on there and had the grand kids and great grand kids be around her, she was so excited, but boy was Kollin mad that he didn't get to go.

But the next night we got together with my cousin and her kids and did fireworks and Kollin did not like them.

I was trying to get a picture of all the kids, but it didn't workout the best
I was able to get Kollin to watch some of the fireworks as long as we where sitting far away. Then Jaylie had to come cuddle with us to. Love it.
Jason didn't have to work Monday so we decided we would take the kids to the Dinosaur Quarry. On our way out we stopped on the desert and had lunch. While we were waiting for it to cook we went and explored. Kollin managed to squeeze through a crack in a rock. I tried to get him to come back but couldn't reach him, so Jason had to hurry and go to the other side of it.Both of the kids loved climbing on the rocks, but I did manage to get some cute pictures of them.Jason and the kids.

Jaylie
The first dinosaur we saw. Jaylie was excited, and Kollin just said, "wow".
They had a puzzle of a dinosaur head you could put together so we gave it a shot.
Yay we did it.

Jaylie's Swim Lessons

Jaylie had 2 weeks of swimming lessons. She did really good considering I had to go with her. I got her floating on her back, diving for rings, and swimming to the side of the pool with her face in the water. My only problem was she won't close her mouth when she goes under water, you will notice she is smiling in all the pictures I kept telling her to close her mouth. Big thanks to my sister-in law for letting me use her waterproof camera.

Here she is on the bottom after grabbing the ball This was Jaylie"s favorite thing to play on. It was a little platform they used for kids in the other class to stand on.

We stayed after a couple of times and went swimming. Kollin loved it his favorite thing was going down the water slides, he would also adventure out into the water as deep as he dared go and just sit there.
Jaylie wouldn't give up her tube she really doesn't need it, but she had been asking to play with it.
