Halloween

This year we had a fun filled Halloween. Jaylie had a party at school Thursday.
A party that night.

Carving pumpkins. We got Jaylie to gut her pumpkin, it took some coaching to get her to do it. Before she stuck her hand in she looked in the pumpkin and said, "I don't know about this," Jason and I were laughing, she can come up with the funniest things sometimes.

We got Kollin to do his too. He would only pull out a couple of seeds at a time.

Friday night we had a Halloween carnival. The kids played games and won candy, toys, and of course cupcakes doing the cupcake walk.Had to pick a sucker with a colored end to get a prize.

Camping

OK, so this post is really late. We went camping back in September with my family. My Grandma and Grandpa were able to come up and have dinner with us this year.

Braden telling grandpa how to clean the roasting stick. He made me laugh when he asked grandpa how he got to be such a good marsh mellow roaster.

We had to gather up logs for the fire and Kollin had to help. Kollin loves Kenny and Jamie's geo. He had the windshield wiper and the blinker going. When I went to take a picture he turned his head to say, "cheeeese," thats what Jamie is laughing at
Kollin thought he needed to go to sleep in Jaylie's bed.Of course the hunt was going on, so we would go hunt, the one time i didn't go Jason killed his, shot it right through the neck.

Of course our favorite part is canoing. Jaylie loves it.

We took Kollin out with us this year. I thought that he wasn't going to like it, but boy was I wrong, we couldn't keep him away from them.
I especially thought he was going to throw a fit with having to put the life jacket on. All of us coming back in.

As we just got up to the shore Braden comes running saying that he caught a snake. He wouldn't let it go.Jaylie found a good hiding spot.

This was our only time camping this year, wish we could have gone more.

Jaylie started Pre-School

I can't believe that my little girl is old enough to go to school. She was way excited to start school and loves it. This is her on the day we went to the open house and of course Kollin had to get in on the action.
Jaylie was excited when she found a computer that she is allowed to play on.
Oh, boy are they in for some entertainment, Jaylie loves to sing and dance and she discovered this karaoke machine.

After the open house ended we where the last ones to leave, cause I couldn't get her to leave.

This was the day she had to go for her power hour. She just took off and wouldn't even wait for me. I got her to stop long enough for me to get a picture.

This was Jaylie's first full day of school.

Her cousin Gavin is in the same class. She went right in and found her spot on the carpet and was listening to the story

There are 9 boys and 4 girls in the class. I have a feeling the the girls are going to be good friends cause they are also all in the same dance class together.

Lagoon

This year Nielson Constuction had the company party at Lagoon. The kids had a blast, they loved it. This was their first ride they went on, (this is the only picture that turned out, all the others were black) They loved the ones where they could make them go up and down.
Jaylie couldn't wait to go on the swings. Jason waited in line with her, but Jaylie said that he had to ride the swings with her. He barely fit.

It was a fun filled day, the kids, us and my mom had lots of fun.
